Carl diagnosed my messed up encoder, and replaced it with a serviceable one he had in stock. He completed the work promptly, and ensured that the unit was now working properly. He also found and repaired another problem interfering with the flight controls while working on the encoder. If you need avionics work in the area, I highly recommend.
